Corner Your Photographs

Mount photographs on your wall without damaging the photo. When the photo is removed from the wall, all you need to do is take the photo out of the corners. No damage is done to the photo because the tape was on the cardstock.

Materials you'll need:
 ! Cardstock, any color
! Photo corners, 4 per photo
(I'm using transparent corners that already have adhesive on them)
 ! Tape/tacky gum
 ! Photos of any size
 ! Scissors

Directions:
01) Take a photo and place it on top of a sheet of cardstock. The cardstock can be any color you choose. Maybe have it match a color in the photo or a complimenting color. Cut the cardstock in the same size as the photo.
For a regular 4"x6" photo, I cut a sheet of cardstock evenly in half. I left all the extra space there for later.

02) Follow the directions on the box to put on the photo corners. You don't have to put the photo exactly in the middle, you can have it slightly to the left or right, or more towards the top so that you can write below the photo.

03) Press on the photo's corners to make sure it stuck.

04) Mount the card to the wall with tape or tacky gum.

Ta da!

(meet my friend Chris.)

Make it better:
 - When you cut the cardstock, leave about 1/2 to 1 inch around the photo to give it a border.
 - With the extra space on the cardstock, you can decorate the border and make it pretty.
 - With the space below the photo, use a marker or gel pen to write comments about it; who's in it, where & when it was taken, etc. I put the photos together on a wall in my apartment and have my friends sign their name below their photo, sort of like my own version of a wall of fame.
 - Hang the photo with a nice piece of ribbon like a painting.
 - If you use tacky gum to mount the photo, when you take down the photo you can keep the cardstock with it because the gum is easily removable without damage.
